My Backyard Pond Adventure 🌸🐸🐟

Hi everybody! Guess what? I just finished building a backyard pond with my mom and dad! Well… they did the big heavy stuff, but I helped a LOT. And it turned out AMAZING.

It’s not a huge pond, it’s kinda small, but that makes it perfect for me. We put in water plants that look like they’re dancing on top of the water. Then we added fish, and now the coolest part happened… frogs came and laid eggs!! 🐸✨ Now there are little squiggly tadpoles swimming around like tiny commas. I check on them every day because I can’t wait until they turn into frogs.

We also had this canopy that was supposed to go over a sandbox, but guess what? It fits perfectly over the pond instead! Now it makes shade so the fish and tadpoles don’t get too hot. Plus, it has a little bench, so I can sit there and watch everything. It’s like my own secret nature hideout. 🌿

Next, we want to get some teeny tiny shrimp for the pond. They’ll be like the pond cleaners, and I think they’ll look so cute hopping around.

My pond might be small, but it feels like a whole new world in my backyard. I love it. 💖
