Learning to Canter! 🐴💨🌾

I had another riding lesson today, and I’m so proud because I’m starting to canter! It’s a little faster than trotting, and at first it felt bouncy and wild, but now it feels like flying. My horse, Apollo, is so gentle and patient with me. When I stay calm, he stays calm too.

I’m also getting better at talking to him while we ride. My teacher says horses listen to your voice, not just the reins. So I’ve been saying things like “Easy, Apollo,” and “Good boy,” and it really helps! He flicks his ears back like he’s listening. 🥰

Every lesson I feel a little braver and more connected with him. I can’t wait until the day I can ride a whole trail at a canter!
