Today I found out something very sad. Jane Goodall has died. She was 91 years old, and she was my hero. She even had a stuffie monkey she got as a baby just like my Oo-ooh, his name was Jubliee.

Jane Goodall studied chimpanzees in Africa and showed the whole world that animals are smart, gentle, and have feelings—just like us. I always thought she was the bravest lady because she went into the jungle all by herself to learn from the chimps. She didn’t just study them, she loved them, and she taught everyone to protect them.

I want to be like her when I grow up. I want to help animals and nature and make the world better, just like she did. Whenever I take care of my pond or my zoo play world, I pretend I’m Jane Goodall discovering something new.

Even though she’s gone, her lessons are still here. She taught us that every creature matters and that we can make a difference if we care. I will never forget her, and I will always try to follow in her footsteps.

Love,

Nico 🌸
