Today we got something super exciting for our backyard pond, glass shrimp! They are teeny tiny and almost see-through, like little pieces of living glass. When they move, it looks like they’re dancing in the water.

Glass shrimp are really good for ponds because they help keep everything clean. They crawl around on the rocks and plants and nibble on little bits of food that are left behind. It’s like having tiny pond helpers!

I love sitting on the bench under the canopy and watching them. Sometimes they’re hard to see because they’re so clear, but if you look closely, you can spot their little legs moving fast. It feels like the pond has its own secret world, and now the shrimp are part of it.

Our pond started with fish, then tadpoles, and now shrimp. I can’t wait to see what’s next! 🐸🐟🦐✨

Love,

Nico 🌸
